Internships Benefit Students,
Employers, and the University
The internship experience has proven to
have mutual benefit for all parties involved.
For the student, it
becomes an excellent opportunity for transition from the
classroom to the workplace environment.
For the employer, it
offers the chance to work with persons who have recently
been involved in educational experiences and are therefore,
eager to learn how to apply their newly acquired knowledge
to the workplace.
For the university, it
offers the chance to make connections with business and
industry, thereby offering potential for program development
and enhancement.
