 CM Organization

The Construction Management Student Organization (CMO) is involved in many professional and civic activities.  CMO encourages member involvement, increases student opportunities, and broadens student knowledge.  Meetings often include hosting presentations by residential and commercial construction companies or other entities involved in the industry such as land developers or architects.  These presentations provide another avenue to gain information on internships and careers.

• UNK Daycare projects to provide children with four student-built picnic tables to go along with the storage shed they build a year ago

• CMO Officers attended officer training provided by AGC-Nebraska Building Chapter

• Assist Habitat for Humanity

• Compete for the first time in the Association of Schools in Construction (ASC) Nebraska City Residential competition

• Participate in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Fall Conference in Lincoln
